The events that took place today in our team were a divided effort.
While one of the team was working on designing a working program to run the course, the other two(myself included) worked to make the robot compatible to run the program that would require a launch of a projectile, which has and will be the greatest challenge for us, though another team has offered to help us as they have successfully done just that.
we have succefuly made it up to the 2nd obstical of touching the wall backing up and turning and there is seamingly a problem with making it go strait again.

Building stratagies for ROB
we will be tweeking ROBs gears out to add some extra speed but must still have stability and flexability while leaveing plenty of room at the front of the robot as to enable it to still be stable and secure. The hardest part of building will be ataching the projectile launcher so that it will hit the cans. To attatch the motor that will be needed for the projectile will require the front of the robot to be enlongated inorder to accomodate it while also leaving room to somehow attach on TWO sensors instead of just one and somehow still leaving it stable, while the idea of instead using a spinning claw like wepon that will whack the cans out of the way seams to be unrealistic in the amount of time that we have to do the building-ONE class which seams a littel stupid because of all the accomadations and alterations required in order to finish.

Challenge # 2

In this second challenge for the robotics class, a robot must me made/designed to use all five of its avalible sensors to complete a corse as described bellow. We are alowed to create or modify the robot in any way to reach the goal!
1. the robot must start by a sound picked up in the sound sesor
2. the robot must move forward to stop in a marked square for 5 seconds
3. the robot must move forward again untill it touches the marked wall
4. the robot must then back up and turn right
5. the robot must next move forward until another wall, but this time stop without touching it
6. the robot must turn right and move forward while avoiding/blasting the cans set in a random location in the course
The carpet on which the course is set will, and has befor, proven a problem that will through the robot of course and had done so on the previous challenge untill it was done on a smooth surface, which this will not be.
